Because of Judge Roach’s ruling, our son was able to have both parents in his life.

Some years ago my ex-husband and I had a pretty nasty custody battle and though I did not understand Judge Roach’s ruling at the time because it was so out of the ordinary… Our son is now 17 and because of Judge Roaches ruling, he was able to have both parents in his life. He ruled in my favor toward the end over a school issue but my ex moved him anyway in the middle of the day on one of his days(we have a 2/5) and I finally just stopped the fight and let my ex think he was in control because I realized that this fight was only hurting our son.
I could not stand that we used my ex’s address for primary residence because it made my ex think he had primary custody… even though he paid me child support and we never changed the custody outline. I was so mad about it back then.
But, it was actually a huge blessing to our son. He is TRULY an amazing child and he blesses us both so much. I owe this to the judgement Judge Roach made in the best interest of a child and not the parents. I wish that I could just come see Judge Roach with my son Ashton and have my son thank him and just say hi!
Anyway, rock on Judge Roach.
I was just googling you and wanted to see how you were doing and I saw you wrote a book. I am in ministry for abused women and I work with children. I am now strategically placing myself in a directors position in childcare with plans to start teaching teachers how to make an impact in the lives of our future leaders. Because children are the most amazing beings on the planet.
